Fall is in full swing, and that means so are all things pumpkin! We’re jumping right on the bandwagon with this healthy pumpkin chocolate loaf. This loaf is perfect for snack, breakfast or even dessert!
This loaf will definitely satisfy your pumpkin spice craving! Made with whole wheat flour and oats, this recipe is 100% whole grains and has minimal added sugar – under 6g per serving! Aside from chocolate chips, there is just 2 tbsp of sugar from maple syrup in the whole recipe.
Thanks to all that whole grain, this recipe packs a fibre punch with 3.5g per slice. It’s also got healthy fats from almond butter and pecans, as well as protein to keep you fuller longer – almost 6g per serving!
This loaf makes a delicious, healthy and filling breakfast, late-night snack or even dessert! We can attest to the fact this loaf is perfectly complimented by a cup of tea or coffee, and tastes even better with a little nut butter and banana on top 😉
