We absolutely love teaching people about nutrition and helping them develop the skills to make their own decisions about food and nutrition.
Getting Started Consultation – $180
This is the first consultation, the first step and the foundation for building healthy habits that will last a lifetime. This session will allow your RD to get to know you on all levels including your past experiences with diets, relationship to food, exercise, food likes & dislikes, challenges you have come across, and much more. The more your RD understands about you, the easier it will be to make specific recommendations tailored to your personal nutrition, performance and lifestyle goals.
How many Appointments will I need?
It’s all up to you! If you are looking for general information, you may only need one appointment. If you are looking to create a sample menu plan, you may need to work with us for 2-3 sessions to come up with a plan that you are happy with. After that, you can decide how much time you think you need to spend with us for follow-ups.
Custom Menu Planning
During any appointment, we would be happy to teach you the basics of menu planning including calorie requirements, macro-nutrient needs, food timing, and how to fit everyday foods into a nutrition plan that’s right for you. To make it easier, we’ll provide you with some tools such as a Customized Menu Planning Template and our very own Philosophy Food Choices Booklet. Our goal is to teach you everything you need to about menu planning so that you feel confident enough to do it on your own.
